Audrey Forbes calling - 1985

Larry Edelman writes, "I just posted a 1.5 hour audio file that I recorded of Audrey Fobes, a fine traditional square dance caller who called in the beautiful southwestern Pennsylvania calling style. I recorded it at an evening square dance on October 26, 1985 at the Big Knob Grange Hall, Rochester (Beaver County), Pennsylvania. It really illustrates how the old time square dances of the area included both square dance and couples dances and includes two patter call squares, thirteen singing calls, seven couples dances, and a cakewalk."
