Larry Edelman Collection - 78 rpm recordings

This large collection (1,358 items) of 78 rpm records is comprised mostly of square dance calling and music, and couples dancing music. It is an extensive assortment of recordings, all of which have been digitized and made available through the Internet Archive's Great 78 Project; all audio files can be downloaded in various formats.. A quick look at the artists represented shows the depth of this collection.

Phil Jamison's collection (see Related Item) focuses on southern Appalachian musicians and callers; Edelman's collection includes more traditional and transitional western square dance calling and tunes.
