Edson Cole was a fiddler and dancing master from Freedom, NH. He was documented by Eloise Hubbard Linscott in her 1939 book, Folk Songs of Old New England. This 78 rpm recording was made available to Dudley Laufman, who released it with additional material on cassette tape as 1-2-3, Balance with Me. The full contents of that album are available online, along with biographical information and a recorded interview with Cole.
