Jack Arehart's calling booklet
Creator: Jack Arehart
Esther and Jack Arehart were the proprietors of Arehart's 1000 Acres, a "Ranch Resort" (aka Dude Ranch) in the Adirondacks region of northern New York state. The resort ("famous for its Square Dances, Good Food and All Legal Beverages") featured square dancing every Saturday night, with music provided by fiddler Ken Bonner and his Barn Dance Band. This little booklet, undated but probably from the 1950s, documents the calls used in that location.
