This half-hour video documents the 1976 National Square Dance Convention, held in Anaheim, CA. It was the largest NSDC in history, coming at the time of the Bicentennial. It included an elaborate historical pageant, and a tribute to Dorothy Stott Shaw, the widow of Lloyd Shaw, as well as demonstrations, a fashion show, workshops and caller training and, of course, lots of dancing. The SDHP site contains several other items from this event.
